NEW YORK (AP) - Entertainment company Viacom Inc. said Monday its head of human resources and administration resigned and will be replaced with a former Microsoft Corp. executive.
Denise White, 53, will begin the role on Oct. 1, succeeding JoAnne Adams Griffith. White most recently served as general manager of human resources for the entertainment and devices business of Microsoft Corp., where she worked for 17 years.
Griffith, a 21-year veteran of Viacom, has decided to 'change her career direction,' Viacom's chief financial officer Thomas Dooley said in a statement, but the company did not provide further information on her resignation.
